Management Team Model

The Management Team has four or more persons doing the work as listed under the Traditional Presidency. Leagues that use this model often have the rest of the board follow the traditional model: one or more vice-presidents, a secretary and treasurer, or secretary/treasurer, and a pre-determined number of elected and appointed directors.

ABC's of a Streamlined League

The League is one organization with three levels. Remember that you have people resources -- from volunteer colleagues such as yourself in other local Leagues to your state League and your LWVUS Board Liaisons. Sharing ideas and supporting each other between levels of the League is an important benefit of belonging to the League! Leadership in the League can be easy and fun! This publication created by the LWVUS Streamlining Committee composed of LWVUS Board Members and Staff will help you make it so.

Best Practices

The national League board has created a listing of best practices as a way of sharing techniques for running your League successfully. The list is meant to be a reference for organization and planning. For more information on League best practices contact the LWVUS membership team.
