SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, August 1, 2015There is no social justice of any kind when some people are considered more valuable and important than others. Inequality in healthcare is the poster child for inequality in the United States. Healthcare Justice is for everyone. Some have said that marches do not really change anything. This certaily will not be true of the Healthcare Justice March, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on August 1, 2015, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Medicare.
Social change does not happen without a huge public outcry for justice. We need to demonstrate our commitment at home, in Washington and everywhere. We invite every single social justice advocacy group to endorse and participate in the Healthcare Justice March no matter what is your cause. If you believe that every person should have access to all medical care, then participate in this march and bring busloads of people with you!
