Election and Attendance Policies

Election and Term of Office of Trustees
The members of the LWVEF Board of Trustees shall be elected by the LWVUS Board of Directors at its first meeting following the biennial convention. The trustees shall serve with full authority for two years or until their successors have been elected and qualified.

Election and Term of Office for LWVEF Officers
At their first meeting following their election by the LWVUS Board of Directors, the LWVEF trustees shall elect a Chair, two Vice-Chairs and a Secretary-Treasurer from among their number. These officers shall serve with full authority for two years or until their successors have been elected and qualified.

Attendance
In the event that a member of the LWVEF Board of Trustees is absent from two consecutive regular meetings of the board, without excuse, that office shall be declared vacant.
