League of Women Voters Education Fund Clearinghouse

Welcome to the League of Women Voters Education Fund Clearinghouse, which contains studies and research conducted by League members. Visitors may download and print the documents. League members may submit documents for this site.

The purpose of this site is to share League study documents among some 800 national, state and local Leagues and with the public. Leagues can save time by not reinventing study materials and see how other Leagues have approached a tough issue. Leagues can also gain inspiration for program planning.

The League of Women Voters is a strictly nonpartisan political organization that never supports or opposes any candidate or political party. Year in and year out, the men and women of the League are committed to providing fact-based information and open discussion forums to help voters make their own decisions. Founded in 1920 out of the suffrage movement, the League is one of the oldest, most respected and recognized nonpartisan organizations in the nation. Our goals have always been to widen democratic participation; insist on both governmental and campaign funding transparency; and encourage fully researched, fact-based decision-making in both foreign and domestic policies. Join us in promoting democracy!
